I’m Robin, and I’m the photographer behind Country Peach Photography.
I’m a small town girl that lives in the woods with my Tabby cat and my husband (who, by the way, is allergic to my cat, but deals with it because he loves me).
I love animals – growing up we always had dogs and cats, which then turned into dogs, cats, bunnies, and fish. I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a little furball running around my house.
Aside from my love of animals, I also love reading and cooking – my husband always says I cook three gourmet meals a day, but it’s really only two 🙂 I love anything that has to do with farms, and I always say, if I could, I would have a cow, goats, and alpacas running all over my property! I love big sunglasses, purses, iced coffee, And technology.
My favorite vacation is our yearly trip to northern Maine where we drive down the Golden Road to a woodsy paradise; a place so remote, most people don’t even know it exists. There, I get to fish, pick blueberries, swim, go for boat rides around the lake, search for wildlife, take amazing photos, and enjoy all of the little pleasures nature has to offer.
I have always had a love of photography, but I didn’t start becoming serious about my photography until I took a photojournalism class in college. Thus began my love of sports photography. I started out by shooting hockey games, and then embarked on my journey of capturing the action inside the pit areas of local NASCAR race tracks. My cultural style of photography became a hit among the local racing community, and I realized my talents were in portrait photography and capturing the emotions and the stories of those around me.
As a dog photographer, I want to capture the adorable face, personality, heart, and joy of your furbaby, and then, if you choose, we can incorporate your family into the mix, capturing precious moments and the love that surrounds your family and pet; images that you can display in your home and cherish for years to come.
I serve the Connecticut Shoreline, Deep River, Durham, East Haddam, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Middlefield, Middletown, North Branford, and Wallingford. My photo sessions take place outdoors, on location, typically at park.
My photos have been featured in Mary Wade Home advertisements for The Comforts of Home and Serve Seniors, in the following publications from 2012-2016:
